Tina Daisley - People Partner
The Client
Tina Daisley is one of those people that you meet and L.M. Montgomery’s classic description of a ‘kindred spirit’ comes to mind. Within minutes of talking to Tina we were firm friends: she’s vivacious, energetic and palpably optimistic — in a really good way — and every minute of our time working together was so very enjoyable.
The Brief
Visual Identity & Website Design
Tina’s a ‘people partner’, working with people and teams so that they can perform with greater impact, and she came to me in mid-2019 in need of a new website.
After review of her existing website I was left a bit confused as to what it was Tina actually did. Given we were already at the ‘friends’ level, I gently brought this up with her right away. She totally got it, and before we knew it, she’d signed up to a scope of work that included refining her business business offerings, core messaging and visual branding, with a view to rolling this out across a new website.
The Process
We started with a series of video workshops to get to the heart of Tina, and understand her incredible journey to where she is now (you can read a bit more about this here). Tina’s ability to impact whomever she meets was really clear, and just as impressive was her passion to make a difference to those around her; be it through her work with teams, or Women’s Leadership Workshops.
We worked together to produce some stronger messaging, better copy and some thoughtful branding to support this; all housed in a brand new custom-built Squarespace site.
The lovely Sophie of Sister Scout Studio had just done some lovely new imagery for Amadeus Brand, and I recommended that Tina get in touch pronto to get some headshots of her own. It’s always a pleasure to work with talented photographers as it brings the design to life in such a unique way, and Sophie did such a great job of capturing Tina’s energy.
It all came together really well, and with a spruce up of Tina’s LinkedIn page as well, all of her comms and branding is now cohesive and can speak consistently to what she does.
Thanks Tina!
